My niece asked me to make a valentine’s day gift box for her school project. I chose my shoe box as the base for the project. Me n niece together did all the hard work of cutting, the little one gave some design ideas also😊. She had to go to bed before putting all pieces together. And when she came back this morning, thrilled to see cute box with all decorations. It is easy and fun project, we enjoyed a lot making the box while my son and nephew trying to mess it up.
Supplies:
Gift wrap
Acrylic White color
Mod podge
Brush
Shoe box or any unused box
Glue/hot glue/ tape
Scissors
Construction paper/scrap book papers-3
Pencil
Ribbon
Procedure:
First keep the box on the wrap and cut according to the size of the box and stick wrap to box using glue or tape.
Then draw different sizes of heart shapes with pencil on a scrapbook papers, cut with scissors( this part was done by the one).
Glue the hearts to the box according to your design.
Add the ribbon to the box with glue as shown in picture.
Paint white colour inside of the box( you can choose your colours according to your choice, i have used acrylic paint). And coat with mode pudge to make the paint hard and shiny.
The gift box is ready.
